Ellectrically switchable qubit

2021 started with a wonderful achievement of the partners from University of Basel and Eindhoven University of Technology. The surprising results on Ge/Si nanowires introducing a new type of qubit and facilitating scaling were published in the prestigious journal Nature Nanotechnology.
