See Physics of Sports

Christophe Clanet

Prof. Clanet has a formidable ability to solve very complex problems using simple experiments and models that reproduce the observed complexity, and at the same time to reveal hidden complexities in apparently simple phenomena.

In recent years as research director at the CNRS and of the Hydrodynamic laboratory at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, he has been working on an ambitious initiative on Sport physics, with focus in three areas: educationresearch and innovation.

Internationally, Sport Physics is an area that is developing in several top universities like Harvard with "Biodesign Lab", Stanford with "Human Performance Lab" or ETH Zurich with "Movement and Sports Sciences."

This course is an opportunity to put into practice much of your technical knowledge on a fun but also increasingly relevant subject.
