Project: Electrochemical reduction of CO2 to form C=C
In recent years, signiﬁcant progress in understanding and enhancing performance of electrodes in electrochemical CO2 reduction has been made. Microtubular hollow fibers composed of metal micro-particles have been demonstrated to be very effective in CO2 reduction to form CO in aqueous phase conditions.
Building on this knowledge, my focus is to prepare microtubular gas diffusion electrodes. I will also address the effect of experimental conditions on the performance of the novel electrode configuration.
