Joe, Dae June was born in Seoul, S. Korea on Feb, 5th, 1979. He studied Applied chemistry at the Department of chemical engineering and biotechnology, Ajou University, S. Korea (1997~2004). He served in the army (1999~2001). He received his master degree in Feb. 2006. During his master project at the Department of Molecular Science & Technology under supervision of Prof. Bunyeoul Lee at the Ajou University, S. Korea, He was working on synthesis of organometallic compound for the production of polyolefin (LLDPE, Polycarbonate) that resulted in the thesis “Syntheses of Novel Metallocene (Non-CGC Type) and Industrial Applications”. The aim of his project during mater course was to overcome the Dow’s CGC (Constrained Geometry Catalyst). He has 6 publications and 2 world patents about Metallocene. Since April 2007, He is studying a PhD student in the group of Prof. dr. ir. D.N. Reinhoudt at the University of Twente, under supervision of Dr. W. Verboom.
