Sijia Xie was born in Beijing, China, in May, 1987. She received her Bachelor’s degree of Science (Chemistry & Biology) in June, 2009 at Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) and then obtained Master’s degree of Science (Chemistry) in June, 2012 at the same university. She started working in the MESOTAS project within Luttge’s ERC Staring-grant in MCS group since September, 2012. Her research will focus on nano-modulated cellular neuroelectrophysiology by microfluidically programmed nanoactuation principles.
