We are pleased to welcome you to IWC-HTS 2026, an international workshop dedicated to high-temperature superconducting systems and their enabling technologies.
Building on the success of previous HTS and cryogenics workshops, IWC-HTS 2026 marks an important step forward by broadening its scope to address not only cooling technologies, but the full system perspective of HTS applications. The workshop provides a forum to discuss recent advances, emerging challenges, and future directions in areas such as superconducting motors, fusion, large-scale scientific infrastructure, power systems, cables, medical technologies, and HTS protection.
Set in the green campus of the University of Twente, the venue offers a unique combination of cutting-edge research facilities and a tranquil, inspiring environment. The campus provides modern conference spaces, networking areas, and a vibrant academic atmosphere that fosters collaboration and idea exchange.
We look forward to welcoming you to Enschede and to an engaging and productive workshop.
