Wheelchair basketball tournament

Saturday, June 14, it was finally time for the 23rd edition of the ISV wheelchair basketball company tournament. In Sporthal Hasseler Es, Hengelo, 7 teams from 6 companies (Roelofs, Innofire, Omori, Gerrit Komrijcollege, EMS-UTwente and Tubantia) competed for the win and ultimately the coveted "Blij dat ik rij" trophy.
In a pool with all teams, it was determined who would play the final at 16:00. It was a close call and the basketball game was played with full commitment. The atmosphere was pleasant and the battle was no less. In the end, the teams of EMS-UTwente and Komrij 1 faced each other. In this exciting final, it was played on Centre Court, with EMS-UTwente winning by a wide margin, 7-0.
This year, they are going home with the challenge trophy.
It was a pleasant and sporty day, which we concluded with a drink and a snack for everyone, after which everyone went home with a satisfied feeling.
