From the 1st of October 2017 Patrick started as an industrial researcher at the EMI Twente. He carries out a confidential contract research project for an industrial party in which he will investigate the effect of certain substances on the separation performance of commercial membranes. In June 2017, he obtained his PhD-degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente within the Films and Fluids group of Prof. Nieck Benes. His research focused on sustainable fabrication methods of thin inorganic porous hollow fibers that can be applied in applications such as membrane filtration, electrochemical catalysis or gas diffusing electrode. Patrick holds a MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente and a BSc degree from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in process and food engineering.
