Well-Being for Students at S&T

Talk to somebody about your well-being?
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ENHANCE YOUR WELL-BEING?
and how can we achieve this with the help of the Student Well-being Budget (NPO funds)?
Share your ideas!
Within the Faculty of Science & Technology we are working to improve student well-being within our community. Funding is available from the National Education Programme (NPO) to support continuous improvements with attention for student well-being within education, communication, support & guidance as well as within student life. We would like to hear from you what this money should be spent on.

THE WELL-BEING officer IS FOR all the students AT Science & Technology.

At university you are expected to act independently and to look after your own affairs. Especially at the start of a new programme, there are many things that may not be self-evident. Next to new experiences at your study, the new found independence outside of your studies can be overwhelming. It is common that you struggle to find a balance during this phase of your life. Therefore, the University of Twente devotes extra attention to student well-being. Next to extra help on a university level, each faculty has an especially appointed well-being officer to help enhance well-being within their community. This can take the form of events, workshops or leisure activities.

FACULTY ACTION TEAM WELL-BEING

Withing our faculty we have formed a Faculty Action Team (FAT- Team) to involve both study associations and staff around the organization of well-being matters. Every three weeks we come together to talk about well-being, discuss and determine what is needed for students to enhance their (mental) well-being.

WELL-BEING RELATED ACTIVITIES

Next to personal conversations, the well-being officer also organizes different study-related and leisure activities:
