My name is Salwa Abdul Quyyum. I am from Bangladesh and did my bachelors and also masters in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Now I am doing a second masters in Biomedical science at Leiden University. For my first year masters internship, I worked in the Nanobiophysics group at University of Twente on the project of Alzheimer’s disease focused on biocompatibility of methods for in vitro stabilization of amyloid-β protein oligomers.
For my second year masters internship, I have joined DBE group from April 2017. The aim of this project is to investigate the interplay between chondrocytes and mesenchymal stem cells via Fas/FasL pathway.
