I was born in Milan (Italy) and when I was 9 years old I moved to Bologna. I did my bachelor in biomedical engineering at the University of Padova and I graduated with a final experimental dissertation titled “3D scaffolds for regenerative medicine: selective functionalization of self-assembling peptides with adhesive sequences” (grade 103/110).
I’m doing the Master in biomedical engineering at the University of Twente and I’m focusing on the Neural and Motor System. I’m doing my thesis titled “Regulated activation in an in vitro model of the ischemic penumbra may improve recovery”
I did an internship at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Sant’Anna (Italy) working on the experimental assessment of a wearable haptic feedback device for augmenting amputee perception and prosthesis embodiment.
