Dr. Ruchi Bansal Received Prestigious “Young Investigator Award” and her research was highlighted as “Best of the Liver Meeting” at AASLD 2018, San Francisco, USA

Dr. Ruchi Bansal has been awarded with a Prestigious young investigator award at American Association for the study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), The Liver Meeting held in San Francisco, November 2018. Her outstanding research was also highlighted as “The Best of the Liver Meeting 2018”.

This Young investigator award provided by AASLD Foundation aims to highlight the promising early career researchers. This award is selected based on highest scored abstracts selected for presentation at the AASLD meeting. AASLD The Liver meeting is attended by more than 10,000 hepatologists every year and over 8000 abstracts are submitted to this meeting every year.

Dr. Ruchi Bansal research entitled “CD64-Targeted Prednisolone Lipid Nanoparticles As a Novel Drug Delivery System to Target Inflammatory Macrophages for the Treatment of Alcoholic Liver Diseases was selected for oral presentation, young investigator award and highlighted as “The Best of the Liver Meeting 2018”. Ruchi has also been awarded a travel grant (1000$) by AASLD Foundation to attend the meeting in San Francisco and was honored with the award during the awardees reception (see the picture with AASLD president and AASLD award foundation president).
