As usual there was a poster session with poster prizes and parallel sessions. The 1st prize (€1000) was awarded to Christoph Traulsen (BNT) for his poster ‘Application of Virus Protein Cages in Functional Materials’. 2nd prize (€500) was for Sahana Sarkar (NI) for the poster ‘Nanogap sensors for single-molecule analysis’ and 3rd prize (€250) was awarded to Thomas Weinhart (MSM) for the poster ‘Rolling, sliding and torsion friction of single silica microspheres: rail-motion nanoindenter experiments Vs. DEM simulations and theory’.
