On Thursday the 5th of April 2012, BMPI member Jithin Jose successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled:
“Prospects of passive element enriched photoacoustic computed tomography (PER-PACT)"
After which he obtained the degree of doctor. His work was honored for its quality and novelty by the committee members. The computed tomography (CT) photoacoustic small-animal imager Jithin developed during his research, is and will be highly used by (future) BMPI members.
BMPI congratulates dr. Jithin and his co-promotor Srirang Manohar and promotor Ton van Leeuwen with this excellent performance!
