Prof. Gert Storm Receives Honorary Doctorate from Semmelweis University
We are incredibly proud to announce that our distinguished colleague, Prof. Dr. Gert Storm from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utrecht University, and the Department of Advanced Organ bioengineering and Therapeutics, University of Twente, and now active at the National University of Singapore, has been awarded the prestigious Doctor Honoris Causa (DHC) by the Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary!
This highly deserved honorary degree recognizes prof. Storm's exceptional contributions to the academic community and the field of drug delivery, specifically his work as a professor of drug targeting.
The conferment ceremony was held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Budapest.
Prof. Storm has had an impressive career, including over 700 publications, being recognized as a highly cited and influential researcher, and holding multiple distinguished positions worldwide. His legacy includes shaping and inspiring a generation of young scientists and pioneering new paths in drug targeting, with research that will continue to have impact and change lives for many years.
