  1. The period of validity for the results of an exam that has been passed is unlimited. The validity of an exam result can only be restricted if the tested knowledge, insight or skills are proven to be out of date.
  2. The period of validity of a module part is defined in the programme-specific appendix. In case of major changes to the content and/or structure of the module, the examination board will approve of a transitional arrangement.

If a module has not been completed successfully, the following rules with regard to the validity period of the test results apply to modules which are registered in SIS:

1. Test results, except those who are mentioned in article 8.b, are only valid in the academic year in which they were obtained.
2. Some test results, if completed succesfully, of a restricted number of module parts or groups of module parts do not expire at the end of the academic year in which they were obtained. This applies to: 
a. Vaardig Communiceren & Professioneel Gedrag 1, 2 en 3, stage De Patiënt en stage De Medisch Specialist;
b. Signaalanalyse, Ruimtewiskunde en Vectoranalyse;
c. If all module parts are completed succesfully except for one or more parts mentioned in article 8.b.1 and/or 8.b.2, the successfully completed test results will not expire at the end of the academic year.

3. All module parts mentioned in article 8.b.1 cannot be redone when completed succesfully. 

4. No EC's will be awarded to test results as referred to in article 8.b. Not before all module parts are completed and the module has been completed succesfully EC's will be awarded to the module.



Validity of units of study - Request

The results of an exam have an unlimited validity. The validity of an exam result can only be restricted if the tested knowledge, insight or skills are proven to be out of date.  

Add the following information when you submit a request to the examination board:

  1. Extensive motivation
  2. Detailed study progress overview (Osiris incl. test-results)
  3. Information on the exam (name of the module or course, course code, date of the test result, on what date the next exam is planned)
  4. Schedule of the result(s) you wish to have extended
  5. Study plan
  6. An advise from the study advisor

Validity of module parts or test results - Request

The period of validity of a module part in the bachelor programme is defined in the programme-specific appendix. In case of major changes to the content and/or structure of the module, the BEX will approve of a transitional arrangement.

Add the following information when you submit a request to the BEX:

  1. Extensive motivation
  2. Detailed study progress overview (Osiris incl. test results)
  3. Information on the module part or test (name of the module or course and test, course code, date of the test result, on what date the next exam is planned)
  4. Assessment plan
  5. Study plan
  6. An advise from the study advisor
