You can take the train from Schiphol airport to Hengelo.

A direct train leaves once every hour at --.37 from platform 1 or 2.

You can also take the train from platform 1 or 2 at --.07 to Amersfoort Schothorst, and transfer in Amersfoort. This train stops at platform 1 at --.50, and departs from platform 2 at --.53, which means the train will be waiting at the opposite side of the platform.

The journey takes 2 hours.

The price for a ticket is €38,80 (first class) and €22,80 (second class). If you don’t have an OV chipkaart, you can buy a single-use chipkaart, which is a paper card that contains an electronic chip, for which you will pay a supplement of €1.

 From Hengelo station you can take the bus, for example line 9, which stops at bus stop Kennispark/UT.

You can also take a taxi to the University of Twente, building De Waaier at the O&O plein.
