Do you picture yourself working in a hospital, a knowledge institute, as a consultant or independent contractor? It doesn’t matter where you continue your career, as future healthcare innovator it is crucial that you understand when to invest your time and energy in innovations, and when they are doomed to fail on the worldwide market.

The TechMed Centre and Novel-T invite you to join the first UT Hacking Health event. With a combination of inspiring talks, workshops and group sessions, your group of mixed HS, BME and TM master students will be guided through the steps to build and pitch a robust business plan. Maybe you will be selected to train with pitch-expert Birgitta van Loon! For one day, fill the shoes of a biomedical startup and get a taste of business innovation, discover the interests of investors and train your pitch skills in a competition for the best medical innovation business plan. May the best group win the pitch competition and claim the prize!

CHALLENGES

Two companies operating in the medical field, Brightingale and DEMCON Advanced Mechatronics, and the HTSR research group of the UT present to you their real-time case and ask you for a creative solution with a sound business case. Read here the challenge descriptions.
