EUVECA: The Adaptive Healthcare Professional Learning Together for the Future

The healthcare sector in our region faces major challenges. The demand for care is increasing, while the pressure on professionals in hospitals, home care, and nursing homes continues to grow. Technology and innovation offer important opportunities to organise care in a sustainable and future-proof way, but this is only possible if healthcare professionals actually learn to work and collaborate with these tools. Twente has a rich and diverse landscape of projects and networks focused on innovation, training, and professional development in healthcare. By bringing these initiatives together, we create a unique opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen each other, and jointly shape the future of care. During this afternoon, we will explore together what is needed to keep healthcare professionals agile, learning, and innovative in an increasingly complex practice.

    How do you remain agile in a continuously changing healthcare sector? In this interactive workshop, you will work on enhancing your own, your team’s, and your organisation’s capacity for change, inspired by the innovative Zorgdetox approach.

    Discover how simulation-based education contributes to increased training capacity and reduced supervision pressure. Gain insight into the approach within FZO Regio Oost and its practical impact on learning and training.

EUVECA is a European Erasmus+ project that strengthens innovation in healthcare by developing future-oriented skills and excellence in vocational education and training. The project builds a network of regional hubs connected through a European platform to promote collaboration, lifelong learning, and sustainable healthcare systems.
