Opening of the BioEngineering LabsJoin us on 8 October 2026 for the festive opening of the renewed BioEngineering Labs at the TechMed Centre, University of Twente. Spanning more than 1,800 m², this state-of-the-art facility brings together advanced laboratories in biology, chemistry, and physics to enable interdisciplinary research and innovation. During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the facilities and discover how the BioEngineering Labs support pioneering work in biomaterials, biosensing, microscopy, stem cell technologies, bioprinting, and artificial organs. By combining bioengineering infrastructure with expertise in medical technology, nanotechnology, and cleanroom facilities, the labs create a unique environment for developing next-generation healthcare solutions.
