This session explores one central question: how can we ensure that AI creates real value for patients and healthcare professionals? Bringing together perspectives from clinical practice, research and industry, we will explore the pathway from innovation to implementation, adoption and impact. What evidence is needed, and how do we integrate AI into clinical workflows and support its adoption? What enabling conditions are required from high-quality, accessible data and a shared data infrastructure to interoperability, governance, regulation and sustainable funding? Together, we will explore how to create the conditions for responsible AI to become an integral part of the hospital of the future, contributing to better, more accessible and affordable care.
