PROF. OSCAR MAYORA IBARRA

Oscar Mayora (PhD. University of Genoa). After his PhD, he joined the Advance Interactive Systems Laboratory at VTT Electronics in Oulu (Finland, as an ERCIM Visiting Research Fellow. In 2001 he was appointed Associate Professor and head of the Graduate Program in Computer Science at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). From 2004 – 2016 he was head of the Ubihealth area at Create-Net (Italy). Dr. Mayora was former president of ACM SIG-CHI for Mexico and is founder of the International Pervasive Health Conference. He has published over 150 scientific papers and has extensively participated and coordinated research and innovation projects in the field of pervasive health technologies. Currently, Dr. Mayora is senior researcher at FBK Health and Wellbeing Center; Scientific Coordinator of the EIP-AHA Trentino Reference Site; responsible for the projects coordination of TrentinoSalute4.0 initiative and adjunct professor at University of Trento and FH-Burgenland (Austria).
