NEW BEGINNING
We are excited to announce that our summer school is in the process of repositioning and rebranding. This change will require us to cancel CuriousU summer school 2023, but we are incredibly proud of our progress and look forward to offering a refreshed and improved program in the near future. We thank all our students and staff for their support and look forward to continuing to serve our community.
Do you want to mix CuriousU courses?
Can’t choose only one from all the awesome courses we offer? Then you don’t have to choose just one, you can mix and match! CuriousU offers the freedom and flexibility of mixing and matching various courses per your preference and liking but has also created some smart packages to help you make the ideal mix and match. See below for some of our smart packages.
Mix and match yourself
You can freely choose which courses to follow for the whole duration of CuriousU! It is really possible that more than one course offered in our summer school catch your attention, match your background and your interest. Choose and mix the courses you prefer so that you can attend more than one, or two or three!

What is mix and match?
- People that choose Mix & match can decide per block (morning-afternoon) which course session they will attend. For example, you can decide to go to the course Desing the Future in the morning and Dutch language and culture in the afternoon. If after one day you decide to stick to one of the two courses and attend that course during the whole summer school then you can earn the 2 ECTS-credits for that course.
- The majority of all course sessions within CuriousU are open for mix & match students, but there are circumstances where mix & match students cannot join a specific session. Sometimes, we have a contest or presentations, which had to be prepared carefully in previous sessions. If you missed these earlier sessions, it is not possible to join these specific sessions.
- Mix & match students don't get ECTS credits but instead, their certificate states the workload in hours (125 hours).
