If you choose to register for the "Mix and Match"course you are mixing the courses mentioned above you will get a certificate but not the 2 ECTS. Students following the English for academic purposes course will get an certifacte and 1.5 ECTS.

We expect you to have a good command of the English language (IELTS 6.0, B2, TOEFL 80 internet based test or equivalent) so you can follow the lectures, write papers and participate actively in the discussions.
Certificate of attendance
You will be awarded with a 2 ECTS certificate of attendance for actively participating and successfully completing the CuriousU summer school. There is an exception for our language courses which have 1 to 1.5 ECTS depending on the course. The number of credits you earn will also be listed on the certificate of attendance. Please note that this is not an official University of Twente transcript, as the University of Twente's summer school courses are not part of an official degree.
Student workload at Dutch universities is expressed in ECTS. ECTS stands for European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, a system widely used throughout the European Union. In the Netherlands, each credit represents 28 hours of work. We would like to point out that recognition of credits is at the discretion of your home institution (please contact the International Office of your home university).
