CuriousU is a summer school for international students, with a focus on Bachelor’s students in their second to last or last year, and entry level Master’s students, but is also open for anyone with broad interests and an inquisitive mind. So we do not have specific (C)GPA requirements.
If you doubt whether you will be admitted, you can use our question based admission tool prior to your registration.
INSTRUCTION LANGUAGE: ENGLISH
Due to the international character of CuriousU the courses and keynotes are all in English. Therefore, CuriousU is a great opportunity to practice your English language skills!
We expect you to have a good command of the English language but these language requirements are your own responsibility and will enable you to follow the courses' lectures. Don't worry about communicating with the Dutch, by the way: 90% of the Dutch population understands and speaks English!
Our festival schedule gives you a good impression of how CuriousU is organized. Get your day off to an inspiring start by listening to one of our uplifting keynote speakers over breakfast. Once you’re all fired up, you’ll join in the morning session of your course for the day. That might be a workshop, a lecture or a project depending on the programme you choose. You’ll then join the other festival-goers for a themed lunch in an informal, interactive setting. After lunch you’ll dive back into your course. The evenings are devoted to the festival with plenty of fun and socializing.
