For questions about Studielink please use the Q&A on the Studielink website.
How can I tell if my documents are verified in Studielink?
- Copy of your international Passport or ID-card
- Bachelor Certificate and final transcript
- In some cases, if you are requested to, hand in additional documents for admission (English and/or Mathematics).
Click on ‘My details’, than on ‘Change personal details’ to see if your personal details have been approved. The following menu will open.
If the Admission Office has received the correct document you will find the message as mentioned below.
Note for Dutch students (and in case a foreign student is already a student of a Dutch institute): Verification has been done by the Dutch Government (IBG – Centraal Geverifieerd).
Click on ‘My previous education’ to see if your previous education has been verified. The following menu will open. If the Admission Office has received the correct documents, the name of the verifying institute and date are filled out.
See picture below.
Note: In some cases the Dutch Government (IBG – Centraal Geverifieerd) has verified your Bachelor Certificate. Unfortunately this does not mean that the Admission Office of the University of Twente has received all requested documents as the Dutch Government doesn’t verify your final transcript of records. Please check your email if the Admission Office has confirmed receipt of your transcript of records.
All students who are requested to proof a sufficient mastery of the English language and / or sufficient mastery in Mathematics and have sent the requested document(s) can check this by clicking on ‘My previous education’. If the Admission Office has received the correct documents you will see extra line mentioned ‘Dutch previous education’, ‘MIN BESCHIK’. The diploma date is always the date of the last diploma in case one or more requested additional certificates.
