50 things you need to do before graduating from UT

Sooner or later, you’ll realise that your student years go by much faster than you'd like. One moment you're hopelessly lost trying to find your first lecture, and the next you're handing in your thesis and picking up your diploma! But before you leave your student life in Enschede behind, there are a few things you simply must do. Because let’s be honest, can you really call yourself a UT alumnus if you haven’t had your picture taken in front of the letters 😉? Whether you’re graduating this summer or still have a few years to go, this is the ultimate bucket list for UT students.

  1. Visit a festival on campus
  2. Buy uni merch
  3. Pull an all-nighter
  4. Go to a random lecture
  5. Sing at a karaoke bar
  6. Attend an FC Twente match at De Grolsch Veste
  7. Grab a snack from De Muur at three in the morning
  8. Get an ice cream (or 100) at Van der Poel
  9. Organise a picnic in the Volkspark

  38.  Pass an exam without studying for it

  45.  Enjoy the sun on the Sportkantine roof terrace
  46.  Visit an exposition and/or show in the Vrijhof
  47.  Go for a swim in the outdoor pool while it's still just a little too cold
  48.  End your afternoon drinks in the VB
  49.  Take graduation photos by the UT letters
  50.  Pick up your diploma and realise that you’re actually really going to miss Enschede…
