Group Exhibition

This time, a group exhibition featuring works by 10 staff members and students, including works by Parisa Khorsandi Kuhanestani, Lisanne Einhaus, and Cynthia Annema.

“I’d recommend creative expression to anyone who feels that spark of curiosity. It’s a wonderful tool for mental calm — a way to quiet the mind, process thoughts, and find a moment of peace and satisfaction in a busy world.” - Cynthia Annema

“Many artists inspire me — from the Hague School and Sorolla’s luminous brushstrokes to Antonio López García. I also draw inspiration from local artists, both through the way they paint familiar subjects and the stories behind their artistic journeys.” - Lisanne Einhaus

“Painting allows me to capture emotions that words can’t express — fixing fleeting feelings in time through color, texture, and light. My work also bridges me to my Eastern roots, reflecting the softness and poetic nature of the culture I come from.” - Parisha Khorsandi

Other works on display during the exhibition are by: Anna Ridala, Anne Wevers, Sylvia Hodes-Laarhuis, Ameya Ehrenreich, Markus Schremb, Esther van de Logt, and Joanita Leferink.

The exhibitions at the University of Twente are free to visit. The most recent opening hours for the Vrijhof can be found under ‘Contact and Information’.
