Measures regarding COVID-19

 
Below you will find all the current measures regarding sport actvities for theUniversity of Twente. 

Face mask mandatory
As of the 1st of December it is also mandatory by the government that a face mask is worn indoors at public buildings. We would like to specifically remind you that these measures of course also hold at the Sports Centre.

When you don’t wear a face mask at the Sports Centre, you will be asked to leave the building to go get one at home. 
At the fitness a face mask also needs to be worn when changing to the next device.

Sportsassociations:
Indoor and outdoor training activities can start again, but there aresome restrictions:
- Sports activities ingroups of at most 4 people
- Keep a distance of 1.5 meter at all times
- Multiple groups may take part in sports next to each other, but withoutmingling
- No more than 30 people are allowed in a sports hall
- Coronacoordinator needs to be visible

It is necessary to have you protocol for sports checked and approved by the sports coordinator of your association.
The boards of the associations have received an e-mail with more detailed information!  

Individualsports: 
It is possible to join one of the grouplessons again! Youcan make a reservation for one the grouplessons. Check our new schedule for all thegrouplessons.

All courses will be given in the Sports Centre again. Doyou want to join a course? Check dms.utwente.nl ifa course is available online! 

The fitness will remain open and will have a limit of 20 participantsduring a timeslot. 
It is possible to make a reservation for free use of a hall for Friday, Saturday or Sundays.

Tennis:
Tennis courts will remain open, it is necessary to make a reservation for atimeslot via dms.utwente.nl to play tennis. 
Please be aware, it is allowed to play with 4 people on one court. One person has to make the reservation, but all participants need to show their CampusCard or UnionCard. 

Swimmingpool:
The indoor pool is open for the UT zwemschool, students and employees.

Sports protocol: 
Check our Sports protocol before you are coming to the Sports Centre. At all times, follow the guidelines of the RIVM, our sports protocol and our employees. 

Below youcan find a summary of all our measures:

  • Wearing a facemask is mandatory when you are in the SportsCentre. 
  • Wearing a facemask is also mandatory when changing a device in the fitness
  • All our dressing rooms remain closed. Please change your clothes at home, do not change your clothes in the Sports Centre or at the sports locations. Use a locker for your belongings!
  • Training for sports clubs have restarted, if your safety plan has been approved by the sports coordinator.
  • All grouplessons and courses are available again. 
  • Tennis is possible on specific hours, a reservation via dms.utwente.nl is necessary. 
  • Fitness will remain open, there is a maximum of 20 participants during a timeslot. 
  • Free swimming hours for students and employees have started again. 
  • Free use of halls is possible on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. 
  • Public is not allowed at any location (indoor and outdoor).
  • If you are in the Sports Centre, go directly to the location of your workout. Do not wait in our hallway or anywhere else in the Sports Centre.
  • Outdoor fitness, U-track and the Campus can be used for sport activities for people with a UnionCard or CampusCard. Please be aware that this is only possible in groups of max 4 persons. 
  • Unfortunately the Sportkantine, Tennispaviljoen, De Toren and De Sevende Camer are closed for the time being.
  • It is not possible to organize competitions and small events.
