The University of Twente is becoming a more and more international University. With all those nationalities in one place, we have a large number of Student Ambassadors available who would love to share their experience and answer your questions!

For some countries/ regions we created dedicated Facebook and web pages in the native language. The Buddy Programme aims at helping the arriving international students feel welcomed and integrate with their new life in the Netherlands and at the University of Twente. After registering for this programme as an international arriving student, you get matched to either a Dutch student or another international student that has been living in the Netherlands for more than 6 months. This student will be your “buddy” for the edition lasting six months. More info and sign up here.
The University's Study Information Centre is run by mostly Dutch and German students. They answer the phone and handle the chat, email box and Whatsapp. The Study Information Centre offers first-line support and is able to answer all your practical questions.
