Hip and happening: Paris at the beginning of the last century. Personal expression and authenticity in painting, literature, music... Renowned conductor and musician Roland Kieft talks about the composers of that era and sketches the political and social context. He interprets the revolutionary compositions of Prokofiev (the second violin concerto) and Ravel (Daphnis et Chloé). Two pieces that the Netherlands Student Orchestra will perform on 16 February at the Muziekcentrum in Enschede. As a prelude to that concert, a group of seven NSO students will play music tonight that fits this year's theme: Untamed!
With the code SGNSO26 students can get a discount for the NSO concert on Monday 16th February, Muziekcentrum Enschede! They have to pay only 10 euro instead of 13,50 euro. Studium Generale offers this to support NSO.
