- UT internal fundingThe University of Twente hosts several internal grants for its research employees to initiate collaboration with strategic partners. Strategic partnerships UT has various types of strategic partnerships: with global academic partners, with local hospitals, with the VU, and with industry and companies. More on specific partnerships can be found here. In some of these partnerships, internal grants are used to stimulate collaborations between researchers at the UT and partners and to strengthen the connection between the organizations. UT internal grants come in different sizes: from small seed-funding that should enable grant applications with externa funders (VU-UT, UT-UM call), to full project funding with cash contributions from companies (Connecting Industries). The grants all have different rules and opportunities, but in all cases should fit within strategic collaboration and contribute to the network's aims.
