Besides members of staff, graduate students can also be provided with a UT workplace. The UT workplace can be regarded as a package of ICT facilities and is owned by the LISA. The type of workplace you can use depends on faculty agreements. The choice is therefore not optional.
The lease bundles offered by LISA are:
- Desktop;
- High-end Notebook;
- Allround Notebook;
- Ultrabook.
If the student requires changes to the current UT workplace due to technical restrictions, adjustments can be made in consultation with the faculty and the LISA.
To apply for a UT workplace you must:
- be in possession of a UT staff registration;
- be in possession of an approval from the budget head of the faculty;
- not yet have a UT workplace available while this is a requirement for the undergraduate.
In the case of replacement and delivery, the new UT workplace is supplied within two days.
For support, use the self-service portal and the manuals. If you have any further questions and in the case of malfunctions, contact the
Service desk ICT.
The UT workplace has three support variants: Standard, Basic en Customised. More information about the types of support that LISA provides and which apply to you can be found under Workstation Support.
