COST provides a tool to network and coordinate nationally funded research activities, through light strategic guidance ("bringing good scientists together“). Support covers costs of networking activities: meetings (travel, subsistence, local organiser support), conferences, workshops, short-term scientific exchanges, training schools, publications and dissemination activities. COST does not fund the research itself. Learn about COST Mission and Goals here.
200 Actions running in the nine scientific Domains. Additionally, Trans-Domain Proposals (TDP) allow several scientific Domains in one proposal.
COST Actions are networks, centred around research projects in fields of interest to at least five COST countries. Search all COST Actions here.
15th Collection date (submissions in one of the nine COST Domains) is on 27 September 2013.
