Robotics Expert finder
Welcome at the ROBOTICS EXPERTS FINDER
The UT’s Robotics Centre focuses on research, education, and innovation in the robotics domain, addressing big societal challenges. Our experts encompass a wide range of related domains, ensuring a broad perspective on developing and applying robotics – from technology to build better, faster, more precise robots, to the understanding of human acceptance of technology and from integration in existing systems to new successful business models.
The Robotics Centre is the place for future robotics and AI technology.

AT THE ROBOTICS CENTRE WE CONTRIBUTE TO A WORLD IN WHICH WE USE ROBOTICS TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY.
Today, robots are almost everywhere. And everywhere they go, they do highly valuable work that we humans could never do alone. As our robotics expertise and experience increase, we imagine a future, in which robots will be working alongside people - in society, in daily life - to make a difference.
At the Robotics Centre, we combine all the robotic expertise in research and education that we at the University of Twente have committed to for years. With our human-centered robotics approach we develop solutions for pressing challenges in industry, healthcare and society that improve life. We innovate and collaborate together with students, researchers, and partners in order to develop robotic solutions that truly benefit society. We want to make a societal and environmental impact, thus striving for sustainability in the broadest sense.
The Robotics Centre is a place where we incubate and design new robotics systems in order to improve (human) life. We are a community of responsible, critical thinkers, who make use of all the creativity, knowledge, and facilities at our disposal so we can create meaningful impact with robots. This is, in short, the Robotics Centre!
