We’re excited to invite you to our next BDSI XR session on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 at 16:00 in Capitool building, room 307.
This month’s session is a great opportunity to get introduced to current topics in XR. We’ll share highlights from the CWI XR Spring School and a presentation on how machine learning can be used with XR data.
We begin with insights from the Spring School, including tactile XR, how social XR can support mental health and wellbeing, and new developments in XR communication technologies (Daniel Subertova). This is followed by Funda Yildirim’s presentation on using multimodal data in XR to understand user behavior.
No prior experience is needed, whether you’re just curious, new to XR, or already working in the field, you’re very welcome to join, learn, and connect.
After the talks, we’ll open the floor for informal discussion.
Registration: Registration is not required but advised – Registration Form BDSI XR Meeting – Fill out form
