12:00 - 13:00 DESTRUCTIVE LEADERSHIP: THEORY AND PRACTICE

There is about 20 years of extensive research on the different forms of destructive leadership and the harmfull effects on people and organizations. This research is seldom used in practice in organizations. It is lacking in the curriculea of universities (of applied science). Executive search does not detect candidates with symptoms of the ‘dark triad’. The positive approach dominates leadership programs and management of change. In this session I will introduce the forms of destructive leadership and their manifestations in organizations. I will introduce the wilful road to restoring destructive leadership.
