PhD & EngD Day 2020

Save the date! November 19th.

Fall is here and that means it’s time for P-NUTs annual PhD Day on Nov. 19th! 2020 has been a rough year for a lot of us. And a PhD can be quite stressful in normal times. So this year’s PhD day will include workshops and practical tips so that you can take care of yourself and look out for your friends. We want to help you help yourself: what to watch out for and how to stay mentally healthy. If you are not sure how you are doing, you can do a quick test here. One of our workshops will talk about the assessment in general, how you can improve your situation and when it’s time to get help. Or maybe you are fine but are worried about a friend or fellow graduate student. And talking to someone can be even harder than dealing with your own issues. But there are ways to tackle this and our speaker will tell you how. We live in crazy times and need to take care of each other so we hope to see you in a few weeks!

What? PhD Day 2020

When? November 19th 14h – 17h

Where? Design Lab UT and online

As with everything else this year, the PhD Day will also take place in a different format. We hope that we can hold the event in person with a limited number of people. Additionally, everything will be streamed so you can attend online as well. For those attending in person, everything will be properly socially distanced, of course. If the regulations allow, dinner will also be included after the official program. So sign up now to reserve one of the in-person spots! But at the very least save the date so you don’t miss the event. As always all attendees (online and offline) will get a certificate and the credits to go along with it. We will provide more detailed information about the program in the coming weeks. You can also follow us on facebook to stay up to date.

More information about the program will follow soon! Have also a look at previous year's PhD day
