Keynote speaker, professor José van Dijck, has been president of the Royal Netherlands Academy for Arts and Sciences (KNAW) since last year. She enjoys an envious international reputation, is passionate about science and has brilliant powers of persuasion. As a successor to Hans Clevers, Robbert Dijkgraaf and Frits van Oostrom, Professor Van Dijck stands on the shoulders of giants. Together they made the KNAW what it is today: an honourable institute, made up of eminent scientists at the forefront of the academic world.
On behalf of the Knowledge Coalition Professor van Dijck will talk about: When High Tech and Humanities Touch. Cross disciplinary collaboration increasingly inspires academic practices; how can universities advance mutual interaction between disciplines?”
