Alumni gathering London, July 9th: Imperial meets 4TU

Will the Twente or Delft student cars go the farthest on the least amount of fuel? Celebrate the achievements of TU students from Green Team Twente and Eco-Runner Team Delft following the 2018 Shell Eco-marathon at a special TU alumni gathering in London on Monday July 9th.

With over 1300 London based alumni from TU Delft, TU/e, UT, and Wageningen this event will provide a unique opportunity for individual networks to come together – catch-up with old classmates, make new connections, and hear first-hand accounts from our student teams about their experiences participating in the world’s leading energy efficiency competition.

This is not only the first time that a shared TU alumni event is being organized in London but is also the first time a gathering is being co-hosted together with Imperial College. As a prominent public research university, Imperial shares strong ties with the scientific community within our Dutch technical universities. Special guests from Imperial will include administration members as well as students from the Imperial Racing Green team. We are also honoured to have the Dutch Ambassador to the UK Simon Smits deliver opening words.

The evening will conclude with updates from alma maters and a borrel where alumni can reminisce about their student days in the Netherlands and network with each other!
