YAN workshop work-life balance

Starters on the labour market have to juggle many 'balls': job, sports, hobbies, friends, family. Preferably, these balls need to be juggled at the same time, at the same height and with the same amount of attention and preciseness. This juggling sometimes causes a certain amount of stress. However, creating a healthy work-life balance is essential for both your psychological wellbeing and job performance.

Therefore the UT Young Alumni Network will provide together with trainer/coach and alumna Loes van den Berg a workshop on work-life balance. In an interactive setting, you will gather insights into your own levels of stress, followed by several exercises aimed at teaching you how to decrease your stress. Furthermore, practical guidelines to reduce your stress levels and to maintain a healthy work-life balance will be provided. At the end of the workshop you will be able to recognize and understand (the reasons for) your stress and to decrease your stress using practical guidelines. 

The workshop will start at 19:00h and end around 22:00h, and takes place in the city center of Arnhem. The workshop itself will last at least two hours and the evening will be concluded with an informal drink. The drink is an excellent event to reflect upon the workshop with the other participants on the one hand, and increase your netwokr of fellow alumni on the other hand. To be part of the workshop, we only ask for a small contribution of five Euros. Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, the amount of partcipants is limited.
