alumni association principia

The University of Twente
Makes a difference! How about you?

Principia is the alumni association for Mechanical Engineers graduated from the University of Twente. Principia was founded because mechanical engineering graduates felt a need to stay in contact with the University of Twente, their fellow alumni and the faculty.

Principia was founded in 1994 by alumni with the help faculty of engineering technology, previously known as the mechanical engineering faculty. Principia’s goal is to enable, maintain and improve the contact between alumni, employees and the faculty. This contact can differ according to personal preferences, varying from being kept up-to-date to actively participating in activities.

Principia aims to support all of its members, from freshly graduated alumni to those who can already rely on their vast experience. The activities are organized with this in mind.

The association aims to offer a platform where amongst other things its members can exchange experiences, offer and ask for advice, offer internships for current students, and maintaining and stimulating business contact.

In order to keep its members up-to-date Principia publishes its magazine ‘Principieel’ several times a year.
