This project focuses on smart heating of office spaces. A number of offices in the Zilverling will be heated by an embedded system to be developed that uses a predictive model based on the presence of people and heat requirements. To this end, the rooms will be disconnected from the building’s centralized heating system and will be regulated in a more energy-efficient manner.

The study’s goal is to demonstrate that the campus can save on energy and gas by using such a system.
