Due to the increased concerns around the current pandemic in the Netherlands and unforeseen logistical circumstances affecting our ability to make our prototype ready for the showcase, we will no longer be participating in the Sustainability week and the waste walk (which has been cancelled). We’re still hoping we can work together to host another event showcasing our prototype and publicising our partnership with Green Hub Twente, most likely a virtual product showcase (so as to be more corona friendly).

Plaex is a student-led sustainability focused company that started off at the UTwente. With being part of the change to a more sustainable future, they combine the fields of waste management and artificial intelligence to improve recycling leading to the more circular economy.
They will be showcasing their latest prototype of their automatic smart recycling bins at the sustainability week.
