“Research gets better when you collaborate across different fields. It enables you to gain new perspectives on your own research. Developing a broader view – rather than focusing exclusively on your own research area – is what makes this position so valuable.”
Patricia Rogetzer, Assistant Professor (University of Twente) - High-Tech Business and Entrepreneurship (HBE) Department

Be a part of interdisciplinary research

As an Assistant/Associate Professor in the High-Tech Business and Entrepreneurship (HBE) Department within the BMS Faculty, you will work in a cross-disciplinary team. This position offers you many opportunities to connect, share and collaborate with experts in different fields of study, such as smart industry, finance, innovation, and logistics management – all while continuing with your own research. With a broader, cross-disciplinary view, you will see the impact of your work grow both wider and stronger. Whether you have a background in Digital Transformation and Marketing, Health and Purchasing, Data Sciences and AI, or anything else related to tech and business, you will find that at our BMS faculty we all work to strengthen the synergy between technology and social sciences.

As the tech university with the largest social sciences faculty in the Netherlands, we are uniquely positioned to research the interfaces between society and technology. The BMS Faculty and BMS embody our university’s mission of being the ultimate people-first university of technology, empowering society through sustainable solutions.

This position at BMS means our unique and exciting BMS Lab is yours to use – along with many valuable high-tech tools, such as eye-tracking and VR.
