The University of Twente has published its Annual Report 2025. It looks back on a year in which the university took important steps to strengthen its financial and organisational position, while at the same time setting its course for the future.
The report highlights how UT continues to advance high-quality education, impactful research and collaboration with society. It also includes the university's financial results for 2025 and an overview of the year's key developments. The financial year closed with a positive result of €27.5 million, further strengthening the university's financial foundation.
2025 was a year in which the university had to adapt to a rapidly changing world. This required difficult choices at times, while remaining true to what the University of Twente stands for: an entrepreneurial university where talent, technology and collaboration contribute to solutions for societal challenges. The new Institutional Plan, The Entrepreneurial University: Stronger Together, sets a clear direction for the years ahead.
The Annual Report is available in Dutch, but has an English summary.
