Workshop on What Internet of Things Do - Implications of a ‘Do It Yourself’ Programmable World

On13 July 2018, Nirvana Meratnia together with colleagues from department of Philosophy and the Design lab of University of Twente organized a session on "What Internet of Things Do - Implications of a ‘Do It Yourself’ Programmable World". In the session, which was part of the International Conference on "Human-Technology Relations: Postphenomenology and Philosophy of Technology", the participants got familiar with the concept of 'Do It Yourself’ Internet of Things and created two different use caes both related to health-care applications through a hands-on session. The hands-on session was followed by a lively discussion on ethical implications of ‘Do It Yourself’ Internet of Things.
