20 Seconds Science is back!

MESA+ and MIRA are working on a broad diversity of research subjects, it’s time to show the world! The challenge? To show it in 20 seconds… In 2015 25 videos were made and they were awesome. Do you accept the challenge to top the last performance? We would like to invite you to participate!

How it works

20 Seconds Science is a contest where all researchers from MIRA and MESA+ are challenged to make a 20 seconds long video explaining your research. You can use any form of video; from stop-motion to video-clip, or what kind of form you would like to show your research on video. Send your video before June 20th to Mathieu Nass via m.nass@student.utwente.nl. The more publicity you generate from your personal social media accounts, the more people know what your research is about.

On the 3rd of July you have the chance to win prizes contributing to your research at an award show. The award show will start at approximately 3:30pm. At the event, 3 prizes will be awarded to the best videos: one of a student Jury, one of a professional Jury, and last but not least the public award. This last one will be elected by a mobile voting round: so bring your mobile phone! Invite as many friends as possible to make sure you win the public award of 2017! Of course drinks and snacks will be served afterwards, to celebrate the great results.

Looking forward to your video and to meet you at 3rd of July!
