Why do we have multi-member faculty boards?

The aim of introducing these Faculty Boards is to encourage an integrated and coordinated approach of managing research, education and operational support. This will give researchers more opportunities, space and time to pursue science and acquire external funding. A student will also be affiliated with each Faculty Board in an advisory role (student assessor).
