The University of Twente has launched a new university-wide e-learning module on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). With this short online module, the university aims to familiarise new employees from the outset with its core values regarding inclusion, social safety, and appropriate conduct. Current employees will also have the opportunity to follow the e-learning.
The e-learning takes approximately 15 minutes and is designed to be easily accessible. After the first few months, the module will be evaluated and refined where necessary. Its structure is also flexible, allowing the content to be adapted in the future to new insights and developments within the university.
This initiative was developed within the University of Twente through broad collaboration between various disciplines and colleagues, including e-learning specialists, the video team, and subject-matter experts. The module has been implemented in the UT’s digital learning environment and originated from a previous Incentive Fund application.
With this e-learning, the University of Twente aims to contribute to a working environment in which everyone feels welcome and safe.
Employees can participate in the e-learning via Canvas.
